This is my final card as the October Guest Designer at Ooh La La and our theme this week is "Witching Hour." I decided to do yet another CAS design but this time I did add a bit of glitz and shine. The image is from their "Boo" set.
I took the colors from the challenge at Catch the Bug.
The image comes pre-colored but I edited it to print with only gray tones, then colored it with ProMarkers. The gray tone gives shading and dimension without really showing through the coloring. The image background was originally white before coloring, no gray tones. The sentiment is also from the "Boo" set.
I added the gold mesh ribbon and another layer of gold satin ribbon which was in my stash. I used that satin ribbon to tie a simple bow and added the felt flower and a gem stone. Simple but with a wee bit of glitz. This card took me 10 minutes to make, including the coloring. The reason I timed it is because of a new challenge I discovered, Speed Craft, where you have to make your project in 15 minutes or less. You can have all your supplies laid out beforehand, which really helps. The theme over there this time is "Halloween."
There were so many Halloween themed challenges this week and I decided to enter every one of them, unless they were challenges which limit the number of challenge entries. :-D
It's a new week and mine is going to be very busy so I'll see you tomorrow for our new challenge at Tuesday Throwdown and again on Wednesday if I get the card finished that I started on Friday. My whole weekend seems to have just gotten away from me for anything other than DT cards. Happy Stamping. NanaConnie
