Perfect Sentiments and a Winter Wonderland Theme

Good Heavens, it feels like forever since I posted for Perfect Sentiments Challenge.   Must have been the holidays.  :-D  This week we have a Winter Wonderland theme and our sponsor is Meljen's Designs.   I absolutely love Meljen's images and have been using them ever since I started blogging and discovered them.  Our sponsor generously provided images for the team to use.  I've used "Penguin Little Letter" and now have yet another Valentine card done.

Isn't he just the most adorable thing, standing in the snow with his love letter ready to mail?   He's colored with markers, gel inks, & glitter pen and then die cut.  The sentiment is also die cut with the same die but I shifted it so that the bottom of the die was used to cut both the top and bottom of the sentiment piece.  I'd never tried that before but I like it.  :-D  The heart embellishments are cut from holographic paper, and I added Glossy Accents to all of them, then matted the two smaller ones with punched paper hearts.

     Challenges:
2 Sisters -- Anything goes
Broken Box Stock -- Winter/Snowflakes
Card Crafter's Circle -- No Business like Snow Business
Digi Haven -- Anything goes
Fussy and Fancy -- Furry friends (hmmm, do penguins have 'fur'? I know they don't have feathers.)
{Pin}spirational -- Inspirational photo, penguins
Simply Create, Too -- Let it snow
Send a Smile 4 Kids -- Valentine 4 Kids
Stempelsonnen -- Snow

Come play with us this week at Perfect Sentiments Challenge.  Don't forget, you must have a sentiment on the front of your card and it has to fit the Winter Wonderland theme.  See you there.  Happy Stamping.  NanaConnie

You are super industrious NanaConnie! Love your cards today. This little guy is very sweet - love how you've coloured and glittered him. Nice trick with the die cut being shifted - thank-you for sharing - I'll put that on my (very long) to do list as it looks terrific. Nicola x
